Paris cabaret meets Berlin club culture
Historically, Christian iconography and folklore have cast the monstrous as femme, queer, and racially coded. The othered/our existence became synonymous with the impure, dangerous, something to be feared. Venus Traps reclaims this narrative, turning demonization into divinity, monstrosity into power.
With installations by Itchi Fleischer and pole performance by ruin klarity, more fun performances by sexy and depressed, Seline Davasse, Isu Mignon Mignonne and a secret act! ACUD transforms into a space where the feared becomes desireable, where excess and defiance collide. If they see us as monsters, we embrace it—only now, we haunt on our own terms.
